Welcome to a workshop with Blaakow, one of the biggest names in Afrobeats in Europe. He lives in France but has his origins in the Central African Republic. He is a positive, committed and highly sought-after teacher and of course: a great dancer.
ABOUT Afrobeats dance is a lively and energetic dance style from West Africa. It mixes traditional African moves with modern street dance, matching the rhythm of Afrobeats music. The style is expressive, fun, and often freestyle, with popular choreographies shared online and in music videos.v
In this class the teacher is free to incorporate styles from other African styles such as Amapiano, Ndombolo, Azonto, Coupe´ Decale´, Afrohouse, Kuduro etc

More about Blaakow
He is one of the first dance artists and teachers becoming a big name internationally for the “urban” Afro/ Afrobeats dance. He has been organising international Dance Camps for many years and has a great knowledge and passion for the different styles. Blaakow has visited Urkraft several times before with fully booked workshops. We warmly welcome him back for more!
